“Integrating these industry heavyweights provides massive opportunities for collaboration between peers and distance learning. It reduces budgets through cuts in power and cooling costs and results in a clear, green IT solution."
“It’s clear from the level of interest we received in Harrogate, that Britain’s universities and colleges are keen to save energy and streamline their budgets. We’ve been working hard at dataplex to create solutions that provide greener data centres and more efficient IT systems."
“We all know that public spending is going to be on a tight budget over the next few years and we are determined to help British education meet that challenge. Saving money and energy will be at the forefront of managing leaner budgets,” said Barratt.
dataplex confirmed that it will be attending next year’s UCISA conference in Edinburgh.
